I was wondering if Odin Mobile, the wireless carrier for the blind is dead? Before
I got my iPhone, I was a user of the Odin VI, an accessible feature phone. I was
told that a newer model of the phone would be out this year, but I have not
heard anything since. The site hasn’t been updated since last December, when I
got my iPhone and switched to Cricket. This leads me to believe that they are
dead. Does anyone know what happened?
I didn't know that was a thing
I use the Odin vi, but I use it on T-Mobile so not sure about them as a carrier.
The Samsung is my talking feature phone; am using it on Pageplus (a vno on Verizon's network).
why are they even a thing anymore
I can only speak for me; but I have no interest in smartphones. I do use a tablet, but for my mobile phone, I prefer a simple phone with real live buttons. Why do we all have to want and use the same things?
LTE there are stil quite a few people, older folks and those on the opposite side of the digital divide, who use feature phones.
People who go off the grid / ghost online and want to unplug from all social media and other privacy issues with smartphones do it.
Yes, there is nothing wrong with feature phones. I loved mine until I decided to upgrade to an iPhone.
My daughter didn't want to change from keys to a screen and she's in her 20's, so go figure.
Not that Blackberries back, I wonder if she'll um, go back.
Laughing.
It looks like all the phones they cell now are out of stock. Really wondering
what's going on.
Hm.. Wayne, blackbary has now switched to android so don't count them out yet.
